Rajnarayan Pradhan was born in 1937 in Calcutta, India. Rajnarayan Pradhan, who studied up to Masters in Commerce, taught at St. Joseph's College, Darjeeling for many years. He passed away on 19 November 2015 in Darjeeling.
Rajnarayan Pradan is especially known in the field of essay-management as a biographer and critic. Pradhan, who has a good study of English language and literature, has informed the Nepali language readers by writing about many writers of the world and their works. He was especially adept at writing objective critiques.
Rajnarayan Pradhan has also written personal essays; His essays, which emphasize the importance of saving even the smallest things, also contain humor. How ridiculous! And the Darjeeling Diary is one of his most interesting works. His satires are equally effective.
In his writings, he has taken a close look at Darjeeling life and satirized the various anomalies of the same Darjeeling environment. He spent a lot of time in Kathmandu and published many works in newspapers and magazines under the name of Kathmandu Diary.
