Govinda Gothale Biography.
Govinda Bahadur Malla was born in 1922 in Ombahal, Kathmandu. His father was Riddhi Bahadur Malla, the first editor of Shardapatrika, published in 1934.
Govinda Bahadur Malla, known in Nepali literature as Govinda Gotha, had received formal education up to ISC. The literary environment in which he grew up was literary as there were literary gatherings at home.
His cock was his first published story published in Sharda in 1940. Govinda Gothale carried on the tradition of writing psychological stories of Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala and Bhavani Bhikshu. The opening of the mental activity and status of the characters is found in his story. He succeeds in keeping the awkward things that cannot be said in a normal way with symbolic mercury. The country, time and atmosphere of his story is especially urban.
By opening the innermost corners of people's minds, the storyteller Gothale, who can portray the unusual moods of the characters, has very successfully portrayed the weak mentality of the lower class characters. His story-telling is unique in that he can express the needs and desires of the characters in such a disabled condition through the appropriate combination of environment and situation. Gotha is a storyteller of the psychological realist stream. Her story depicts the mood of the children in an equally impressive manner.
Apart from stories, Gotha is also known as a successful writer in the field of drama and novel. He was awarded the Tribhuvan Award in 1985 for his contribution to literature. His drama and novels have also been published
