Brightness not working on window 8.1 ,8,10.

 Brightness not working on window 8.1 ,8,10.

It doesn't required internet .

First of all,,, I will  try to make you understand with the help of images and with little text..

On my window 8.1,, brightness is not working and the solution of this problem is two.

      

     step 1) Right click on “computer icon” and click on “Properties”.

step 2) Click on “Device Manager”. 

Step 3) Expand the “Display  Adapter” by clicking on arrow, and right click on “Driver” and click on “Update Driver Software”.

Step 4) Now click on “Browse My Computer for Driver Software” (click on second option).

step 5) Click on “Let Me Pick From a List of Device Driver on my Computer” (click on second option).

 Step 6) I think in your also it came multiple driver that are available on your computer like mine now I am selecting on second driver.

But if on your system showing only one driver then select that..

And click on  “next”. 

Step 7) After clicking on  “Next” it will come like this interface.

Step 8) Now we have successfully installed and it doesn’t came error ,, it means our problem has been solved. And restart your laptop.  

If this process doesn’t work then follow this method::

step 1) Expand the “Monitors” by clicking arrow left side of that icon.

Right click on “Generic PnP Monitors.” And “Enable” it..
